Spring Band Competition
 On Tuesday, May 8th, the North and South Hampton Roads District band and keyboard students will come together as one large performing ensemble at Hampton Christian Academy in Hampton, VA, for a full day of rehearsals, sectional workshops with guest clinicians, and a 1:00 pm combined performance!  
 
Here is the schedule we've planned for this event:

·         Schedule:
o   9:00am Student Registration/Welcome
o   9:15am Rehearsal Begins
o   10:30am Break
o   10:40am Master Class w/ Band Director
o   11:00am “Music Ministry Opportunities” Lecture and Q&A
o   11:30am Lunch (students bring their own lunches)
o   12:00pm Dress Rehearsal
o   1:00pm District Festival Performance & Awards
o   1:45pm Clean-up, Pack-up
·         Anticipated performers: Around 80-90 students all together!

FINE ARTS FESTIVAL
​Thursday, May 24, 2018
7:00 pm
Please join as a our students are given the opportunity to showcase their unique talents in the areas of painting, music, and recitations.  Guest will have the opportunity to bid on artwork.  All proceeds will be donated to HRA.  All are welcome to attend.  
Field Day 2018 will take place on Monday, June 4th beginning at 10 am.  Please send the following items with your child the day of the event:
  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Water shoes
  • Dry clothes
  • Water bottle
  • Signed sunscreen permissions slip
  • $5.00 per child to defray the cost of the event (A hot dog, bag of chips, a drink and ice pops will be provided for each child.)

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!  We need YOUR help with FIELD DAY on Monday, June 4th.  We are looking for the help in the following areas:
  • ​​Grill master
  • Game attendants
  • Face painters
In addition, we need the 8 dozen cupcakes donated for the cake walk.

Preschool Graduation
Join us for our Preschool and Kindergarten Graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 7:00 pm.  Graduates will need to arrive no later than 6:40 pm.  
Cake and punch will be served after the ceremony.
