Thank you for your interest in Hickory Ridge Academy and Early Learning Center. HRA and ELC is a ministry of Hickory Ridge Community Church which is located in the Hickory area of Chesapeake, Virginia.
HRA offers several different programs including an early learning program for ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten 4, kindergarten through fifth grade, before and after school programming serving several public schools in our area (Hickory, Moyock, and Shawboro), and summer camp.
HRA seeks to partner with parents to help their children reach their God-given potential academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Teachers and staff recognize that knowledge is sanctioned by God and each child is a blessing from Him. HRA respects the individual and unique learning style of children and strives to assist all students in reaching his or her full potential. We truly believe children matter to God.
